Training Coordinator

Job Description:

The Training Coordinator reports to the Manager of Training and is responsible for the design, development, implementation,
coordination, and facilitation of company training and development programs.
The Training Coordinator is responsible for;

• Assist the Director of Training, as directed;
• Reservation of training room(s), preparing training handouts / booklets / material, coordinating with other departments for
joint inter-department training,
• Liaise / coordinate with CAAT (Civil Aviation Authority Thailand),
• Liaise / coordinate with crew scheduling with ground, flight & simulator training along with all associated documentation.
• Liaise / coordinate with crew coordinator with documentation & training documentation,
• Overseeing the training slots / reservations, identifying forecast training needs and assignment of current slots for the
scheduled training events.
• In association with other inter-company department training to plan, initial and recurrent training, manage the update process
for courseware, training devices and training materials.
• Prepares / communicates relevant data and reports as needed.
• Prepare all associated document procedures for employees and management who are appointed for training.
• Manage training courseware as stipulated by the Civil Aviation Authority Regulations.
• Research training equipment material & suppliers as needed – including details, cost comparison, and timelines,
• Assess training needs for new and existing employees.
• Identify internal and external training programs to address competency gaps / needs.
• Organize, develop or source training programs to meet specific training requirements / needs.
• Liaise with subject matter experts regarding instructional design.
• Develop training aids such as manuals, handbooks, etc.
• Schedule all required internal & external training and checks.
• Inform employee’s reference training options.
• Map out training plan for individual employees.
• Present training programs using recognized training techniques and tools.
• Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, and on-the-job
• Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness.
• Track and report on training outcomes.
• Provide feedback to program participants and management.
• Evaluate and make recommendations on training material and methodology.
• Establish and maintain relationships with external training providers & suppliers
• Establish effective communication with all company departments’ reference training requirements. Maintain an action tracker
for all agreed actions to comply with CAAT rules and regulations.
• Coordinate off-site training activities for employees.
• Manage training budget.
• Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the training manager.

Minimum qualifications for consideration include:

1. Minimum 3 years of Aviation training experience,
2. Bachelor’s degree in any branch.
3. Proficient in MS packages, proficient in internet/ e-mail/ AIMS operations.
4. Good Knowledge of ICAO regulation, Civil Air Regulation and Company training requirements.
5. Able to work independently and produce training reports.
