       A330, Airbus intends to offer the airliners an alternative to older tri-jets like the DC-10 or Lockheed L-1011. The A330 serves regional and medium distance routes. The A330-300 is the basic model of the A330 family. The program started in June 1987 and the first aircraft took off on 2 November 1992. The certification by the FAA and JAA was achieved on October 1993. Airlines deliveries began in December 1993. Airbus launched A330 family which is The A330-200 program in November 1995.The A330-200 is based on the A330-300 and shares near identical systems, airframe, flightdeck and wings, the only major difference being the fuselage length
       A330-300 is a 295 passengers in a three-class cabin layout,5850 nautical miles range.Powered by General Electric CF6-80E, Pratt&Whitney PW4000 or Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines.A330-300 is designed to do what twins do best for medium to extended range market.
