Position: Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE)
Responsibilities:
A. Carry out aircraft schedule and unscheduled maintenance, inspection and defect rectification on the K-Mile fleet.
B. Perform aircraft maintenance/airworthiness releases of aircraft.
C. Ensure that safety precautions are being observed when performing all maintenance activities.
D. Directs and manages all activities of assigned personnel. Schedules manpower required to accomplish work requirements on a
timely basis through effective use of personnel, equipment and facilities.
E. Attend training sessions as assigned by management and Authority mandatory regulations
F. Carrying out any tasks as assigned by the Duty Engineer/Duty Maintenance Control Center /Managers/Head of Department in
accordance with the approved maintenance documentation.
G. Ensure correct completion of paperwork and forms as required in addition to computer based reporting and recording systems
Qualifications :
A. Holding CAAT. AMEL. Licensed Aircraft Engineer Type Ratings in KMI’s fleet (Preferred Type Rating B767-300/ B737-800/
B737-400, to be priority and consideration)
B. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (excel/word) is required.
C. The ability to speak and comprehend English is required.
D. TOIEC Score 450 or more required.
E. Experienced aircraft engineering data recording system any AMOS, SAP, TDMS, AMASIS, to be priority and consideration.
Position: Aircraft Mechanic (MEC)
Responsibilities:
A. At the Main Base, the Aircraft Mechanic (MEC) shall work under the direct supervision of the Line Maintenance Manager (LMM),
Lead Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LLAE), or Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE), and shall only proceed with maintenance tasks after
receiving instruction and authorization from the LAE on duty.
B. At the Line Station Base, the MEC shall work under the direct supervision of the LLAE or LAE, and shall only perform
maintenance tasks after being instructed and authorized by the LAE on duty.
C. Determine and prepare the necessary tools and equipment required to perform assigned maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
A. Diploma or degree in Aviation, Aviation Technology, or a related maintenance field.
B. Possess strong technical and functional skills.
C. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) is required.
D. Good command of spoken and written English.
