      FOKKER HOLLAND: The first civil aircraft designed and built by Fokker after world war II was F-27 Freindship. During 1950, Fokker determined what operator would like to replace DC-3 or C-47, with high wings, powered by turboprops. The Fokker F-27 (40-44 seats) began in 1950 designed study know as the P275. The Dutch government was so confident and aid funding to the P275 which it was developed into F-27. The aircraft first flew on November 24, 1955. Fairchild Aircraft in the United States also saw the planes potential for airlines in the United States and has secured a licence-production agreement wit Fokker. The Fairchild aircraft had a longer nose for weather radar. Fairchild version received FAA certificated on July 1958. The F-27 became the best selling turboprop aircraft . Production in Holland continued till the Fokker F-50 was launched in 1986,production reached total of 580 units were built in Holland and together with Fairchild total of over 780 were built.
      FOKKER F-50: Fokker announced it was developing the 50 seats Fokker F-50 in November 1983. The Fokker F-50 is bases on fuselage of the F-27 Freindship. The improvements were the new Pratt and Whittney Canada PW125 turboprops driving six blades propellers which make it faster and greater fuel economy,new avionics and an EFIS glass cockpit. The F-50 was first flew on February 13,1987.
      Fokker came to the end due to the financial problems on march 1996 and the last F-50 was delivered to Ethiopian Airlines in May 1997. Total number 205 of Fokker F-50 were built.
